Time to go to work!

Hello, World!

My Avon shipment finally came in! Yay!

Today I will be walking the parking lots of nearby stores handing out brochures and flyers all day, and collecting phone numbers.

I will have my Skin-so-Soft products with me for anyone who wishes to buy some, as well as any other products I have on-hand.

I will start at the Wal-Mart in New Boston. I may move to other places as the day wears on, but we'll see how well I do.

I now have a face mask to wear so I can enter places that refuse service to anyone who doesn't have one.

If you are interested in Skin-So-Soft, call me! I have LOTS to sell, and if you are in the New Boston Area, I will be able to deliver immediately!

Ya'll have a blessed day!

Road Trip, Avon and The Pitt

Hello, World.

I haven't updated this blog much lately, I've been so busy...and so tired.

Not sure if it is my great cooking, Luanne's great service, or the fact that people are making up for being stuck at home for the last couple of months, but we did more business at the Pitt Grill on graveyard shift last night than we normally do on a busy weekend night -- and it was only Tuesday!

But, I've officially put in my two weeks notice. I am going to focus on my Avon sales for awhile. My Avon business has been picking up as well.

I have decided it is time for me to take a road trip soon. I need to get away and enjoy the sites. I need to breathe. I need to miss home.

And, I need to see my kids.

I figure I can take a bunch of Avon to sell with me as I go, also.

I kind of want to wait until the rioting dies down first, though.

Well, I'm tard. (That's redneck for "I'm tired"). And, I still have to go to the bank.

Have a blessed day!

Profile...or not?

Hello, World!

Had a visit with an internet friend for the first time today. I really enjoyed it! I hope we can get together again sometime in the future and hang out as well.

It isn't too often I agree to meeting with someone I met over the internet. As a matter of fact, this is probably only the third time since the year 2000, and the first two were not good experiences. I learned from them, though. LOL

Advice: always investigate before committing to meet up in person. It will save you LOTS of uneasy experiences. Thank God Facebook makes that a little easier. I informed my new friend that I had done so. You can't be too careful in this day and age when meeting total strangers. He was very understanding and agreed.

I have two more days of work before the new schedule comes out, and I have no idea when my next two days off are at this point. BUT, the Pitt Grill now not only has a NEW waffle machine, but also our deep fryer has finally been fixed. We now have French Fries and Country Fried Steaks again (as well as okra and fried squash!)

I also received my W-2s for both of the jobs I held in 2019. I am looking forward to getting this year's tax filing behind me. MAYBE I'll actually receive ALL my money this year.

I am also looking forward to getting on the phone on my next days off to try to drum up some Avon orders.

If anyone wants to be on the mailing list, PM me with your snail mail address!

Ya'll have a blessed day! (MINE IS!)

Sweating it...

I just got home from door-knocking, once again. It was so hot outside, I was sweating. My T-shirt was soaked with sweat. I can imagine how I looked to the customers who answered the door. LOL

I ended up giving out 17 books, collecting 5 more phone numbers and I have an appointment to see a lady at her house tomorrow with some men's cologne for her to buy for her son. She might want something for herself, too...She was too busy at the moment (she had an appointment with her kid's teacher).

Then, tomorrow I have to go to Texarkana to do some door knocking before I go to church, and I have another delivery to make tomorrow night.

I'm tired and wet with sweat, and praying for relief!

God meant it when He said,

Genesis 3
19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Last night when I got home from work I took a nutritional supplement that is sold by Avon for restful sleep. I figured it would take me a few hours for it to kick into effect.

Sure enough, around 9 p.m. I started getting sleepy. By 10:30 I was in bed. It is 6 a.m. and I've had the best sleep I've had in days.

So if you look at your Avon catalog and you find the Espira section, I urge you to look at those supplements. Avon is well-known for putting out quality products and this is no different. I think I'm going to start taking the energy supplements as well.
