Changes

Good morning, World!

I am now into day 3 of my 4 days off. I have accomplished getting my taxes done this week, as well as starting two trade accounts, doing a lot of surfing, playing games online and taking a trip to Sam's Club for groceries to celebrate my tax refund.

As I was speaking to the lady yesterday at the tax office, I told her, "One year ago today, I wasn't even thinking about being where I am now. So much has changed in my life for the better!"

Just ONE year.

This time last year I had no insurance, suffered from random Gall bladder attacks (and couldn't eat bacon...LOL), lived in a tiny one bedroom apartment that I paid too much for, my baby dogs lived a hundred miles away and I never thought I'd see them again, and I worked as a waitress at Denny's Restaurant. And my tax refund was confiscated by the government to pay for my student loan. And, I had no credit. And I lived alone.

Today, I own my own home, my gallbladder is gone, my babies are home, and I work for the Great State of Texas as a Corrections Officer, and I have every kind of insurance there is! AND I get a refund! And, I have a LOT of credit if I need it! And I live with two great guys!

Wow. I have been so BLESSED...and God hasn't stopped yet!

I'm not complaining at all! (But if He did stop right here, I'd still say I am SOOOO blessed!)

Ya'll have a blessed day!

My First Investment

Hello, World!

Today I invested in my first share of stock. I am really looking forward to learning more about stocks and trading. This is a whole new experience for me.

I also took out some more Life Insurance for myself at work. Not looking forward to using it, but at least I know my kids will be taken care of when I am gone.

Bills, Bills and More Bills

I just sat down and figured all my bills for the month of February. I had to cancel my recurring savings plan of $500 a month, and replace it with $100. At least it's still something, if I can keep from spending it.

I think I will do okay. I have enough for gas and a few more groceries in case I need it after all the bills are paid. Not much, but enough.

Doesn't matter how many bills I pay off, though...I'm always gonna be in debt to the One who enables me!

Thank You, Lord, for enabling me!
